i realised that after i started working, i have nothing much to blog. other than my weekends, everyday is like... a normal day.

start work at 9, end work at 7.30 or 8pm.

Had a great yet a bad last week. fell ill but the days on mc were the days in which i really rested. i still feel tired and weak, appetite bad but, i'd rather fall ill (for once).

yesterday, met mingxing for lunch. went to spizza at jalan kayu. i didnt know that jalan kayu is so near to sengkang... anyway, although i have been to spizza quite a few times, this outlet is pretty unique. we couldnt make up our mind what to eat other than calamari. the waiter decided to order a pizza not from the menu- his creation basically it had loads ham, mushrooms, loads of cheese, spicy meatballs, antichoke, something else i cant remember, and an egg in the middle. he told us to spread the egg yoke around the pizza and it really tasted good! i ate 2 slices and my stomach was about to explode.. mingxing ate the rest and u can guess how big his stomach was.

One thing i like about eating at restaurants is the ambience. yes, the physical ambience is important. but talking to the staff is great as well. the outlet at jalan kayu is very small.. and so is the staff. they are one bunch of friendly and warm people. constantly making sure we were well fed and happy and talk loads of food-related stuff with us. probably because we were the only customer left when they closed for lunch. little things like these truely make my day.

supposed to go to batam this coming weekend with the council but i gave it a miss. no money and didnt wanna spend so much money this month- gotta clear credit card bills. but going to plan one next month to go with chieh or my fellow interns :) cool funky stuff man.. cant wait to have a good massage :)
